  • Implications of the Slowing Global Economy [View article]
    The developed economies are slowing rapidly if not already in recession. Develeraging and credit contraction is far from over and hence recessionary forces have yet to play out fully. No mention made of BRIC economies which many believe to be the saviour of the world economy--I don't think BRIC can be the world economic locomotive as BRIC growth is strongly tied to developed countries well being, not the other way round. When put to an extended test in the past year, BRIC equity indices have fallen much harder than those of the developed economies.
