Michael... Your article covered everything, but there is one correction that I would like to make. It has not been shown that the Mercedes was a warship. In fact, Odyssey has said in their court case that she was registered as a mail ship at the time of loss. I'm sure once it's proven the Mercedes was on a commercial voyage, the court case will conclude in short time making Lonnie's statement moot.
