Silver is normally a good metal to watch with gold. When silver looks overbought (which happens long after gold), it's time to sell gold.

Mid-Year Price Changes of Major Commodities

Silver is outpacing gold-- interesting stuff. I assume that the gold boom will be over when silver peaks. until then keep buying and holding gold.
