Since the tenor of this article is about Chinese interest in MCP refining techniques etc, what do you think would happen if there was a public offer made for MCP by some chinese firms? and or do you think this is even possible.
I question your assesment of Molycorp competition besides Lynas. REE AVL etc are just digging holes right now, they are going to need to raise gobs of capital and are years away from producing anything at all. With the Environmental concerns being raised in China, the ability of the Communist government to change quotas on a whim, the increasing tension over the Senkaku islands, the lack of refinement facilities throughout the world, the predictions for increasing demands. Your article fails to mention any of these factors. Would you share thoughts about these items?
