Molson and Miller are bothe foreign companies. The Busch family has been granting themselves cheap options and then selling them the minute they get them. Warren Buffett is going to get involved according to David faber of CNBC and my guess is he wll either buy BUD and let Im Bev run it in some type of partnership or support Im Bev's buy out. Busch family has 4% of the vote and umber 2 and Number 3 beercompanies in US are already foreign owned.US sends too much money overseas in trade deficits andthis kind of takeover is inevitable

if busch and his family were "serious" they would have kept the stock from their options instead of liquidate them. This merger is an example of capitalism "working"

  • Fitch Skeptical of InBev-Anheuser Merger Prospect [View article]
My guess is this will happen. Im bev knows with an overpriced euro ,weak dollar its time to act.Maybethey will go partners with Buffett somehow and trim all the fat from BUD but the key is the stock has been underpriced for awhile. Buffett paid around 50 3 years ago and 65-70 is not unreasonable

if you examine the top 20 stocks in the S&P from 1957-2003 with dividends reinvested, 18 of the 20 were either consumer goods or pharma. ONE stocks beat EVERY other stock by almost 4 times. Altria
