What a shame that Aastrom Biosciences is declining badly despite having a promising and safe product (autologous), and yet Osiris is doing well despite the fact that Chondrogen FAILED in the trials (no surprise since it was designed to maximize profit margins without regard to whether the approach actually worked). Oh well.

I just read a story about how stem cell therapy (autologous from liposuction) is now approved for dogs with knee osteoarthritis. It is reported to greatly ease the symptoms. Also, such treatment has been available for horses since 2003. But nothing even close for people? WHAT THE HELL???????
