Indians Are Selling Gold - Is Their Thinking Right? http://seekingalpha.com/article/122068-indians-are-selling-gold-is-their-thinking-right?source=feed#comment-399713 399713 We have learned that most of the world lives week to week, paycheck to paycheck. Instant gratification has always been the story for most, and look where it has led them.
The prudent, and those that have had the sense of mind to not get involved in the shenanigans of the masses are holding on to their gold, and hosting the gold buying parties! We are the same ones that sold out of the market long before the false rallying cry that "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" lulled most of the world into a false sense of security.
Look at how many people lost their retirement and life savings by listening to the "experts". The only thing that will get you through the next few years is some common sense and a strong gut. If you had taken some of your investments, cashed out, you could have emergency funds available, gold and silver that has gone up over 25%+, 6-12 months food, water etc, and money to invest back in the market at record lows.
It is really not that hard...]]>

A very true statementv with one caveat, what most don't have and what you will need is as much food, water, toiletries, seeds, light farm equiptment, bikes gold, silver, ...etc... that you can store now for hard times ahead.

This is the beginning folks. The dominos fall harder and faster now, and you had better be prepared. Have you thought about what you might use to barter with if your job is gone in 6 months? You need to start thinking ahead now. There really is no time left.

It can be frustrating for anyone. This has been a year of many contradictions. This is when I turn to my gut instinct to make decisions, and rely on myself. My gut tells me that despite some rallys that alot of analysts missed, the dollar will drop, oil, precious metals and other comodities will rise.
I see states shutting down services, business failures, shortages on shelves, more unemployment, a war in the Middle East and a domino effect for years. I am getting my "house" in order for "emergency preparedness".
My past comments show where I have stood for months on this economic situation. If I am wrong, and 2009 turns into a stock rally, and all of a sudden every one who is out of work gets a job, and every business that has had to close can now reopen etc.....than I will just spend some time driving to the food bank to make drop offs.
Problem is that I just can't see this all going away...]]>
