BAD for BUSINESS ... Ebay website crashed or was down for at least 4 hours from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST on September 14, 2014, Sunday morning! After the website got hacked last Spring 2014 there have been repeated down times that have occurred since then.

  • Walter Energy - A Massively Leveraged Option On A Recovery On Met Coal Prices [View article]
Price $4.15 on Friday September 12, 2014, an all time low! I am still not convinced the time to buy is now. Even if met coal prices go up, what happens when the stock market crashes 2015-2016? I don't even consider it a good longterm investment.

  • Walter Energy - A Massively Leveraged Option On A Recovery On Met Coal Prices [View article]
NOTE: The date of this original article was May 30, 2014 which was around 3-1/2 months ago! Stock has gone up and down since then. Stock is now in a downward spiral from August 15, 2014 of $6.50 down to $4.15 it's all-time low. I don't see any light at the end of tunnel for Met Coal prices. Until metalurgical coal prices recover, this stock will remain down.

  • QR Energy Benefits From The Merger, How About BreitBurn? [View article]
... so what is the surviving (after the merger) DCF coverage ratio and is it greater than 1.00? DCF or Distributable Cash Flow is the amount of money the company has from earnings to payout planned dividend distributions. So is the QRE merger going to help or hinder DCF?

  • BreitBurn Energy Partners: Buy The Dip On This 9%-Yielder [View article]
Bad investment if the DCF (Distributable Cash Flow) cannot even cover the planned payouts for dividend distributions. Right now DCF coverage ratio is less than 1.00 (.86), so how is BBEP going to payout 100% planned divdend? Allegedly the planned merger with QRE will not increase the DCF coverage ratio! They will have to cut their planned dividend payout!

  • BreitBurn Energy Partners: Buy The Dip On This 9%-Yielder [View article]
Rip2451: I have no confidence with a current DCF (Distributable Cash Flow) below 1.00 (now at .86) that the company's cash flow is high enough to cover their planned dividend distributions in the future. Somebody needs to refigure the combined DCF for both companies BBEP and QRE as the result of the merger to see if the combined merger results in a net DCF coverage ratio over 1.00. Prior acquisitions yielded no higher DCF coverage ratio ... why should the QRE yield a higher DCF mcoverage ratio? I think this is a bad investment until BBEP can get their DCF coverage ratio back to 1.00 or higher.

CASH COW: I just received a whopping cash deposit July 22, 2014 into my BROKER ACCOUNT for both MLPL and MORT at an annual equivalent of 8.25% and 17.42% respectively. They put the cash into your account and let you re-direct the funds to wherever you want. Or they can pay it out to you as income, or re-invest it at market-trade prices.
