Why the Detroit Bailout Should Include Bankruptcy

I've sold GM and Chrysler products for the last 5 years. I've seen them up close and seen how satisfied customers are with them. They're sub-par in quality, reliability, and fit and finish. The Koreans are building a better product. If Hyundai starts building trucks, Detroit can forget about it. When brand new cars need service the day after they roll off the lot, repeatedly, there is a problem.

Should Governments Bail Out GM?

If tax dollars are pumped into the domestic automakers, they'll burn through it the same as they have their own cash. A dollar is a dollar, regardless of where it came from. I'm not willing to donate the tax money i pay to carry a business(es) that is(are), in effect, the last dinosaur to become extinct.
