Why Dollar Cost Averaging Makes Sense [View article]
It actually makes sense to buy the SP 500 using the ETF (SPY) right now. With such a low PE, how wrong can you be ? Using dollar cost average on that ETF right now makes sense. I'll buy once a month
A pull back was expected. Fundamentals are improving slowly, price did rise too fast (as usual). I am not expecting a crash, just a typical retracement where buying on the dip makes sense. How far of a retracement ? I'll wait until the end of Oct. Buy list ? China India Russia Oil index SP 500

Its not easy to pick the right fund. I guess Bill Miller's fund is probably the right fund to pick when one feels that the market is heading higher. No one can really escape a bearish reversal.
What to Expect from Google over the Next Year [View article]
Like most big caps, I expect Google's growth to slow down. It will probably be considered as a Media ETF ; meaning, owning Google will give you full exposure to media related stocks
The view in Europe is that Citi is "too big to fall". We see lots of ads again from Citigroup all over Belgium and various European countries. They lost many customers by selling guaranteed products (guaranteed by Lehman Brothers). Investors I know here still trust Citi and are buying one step at a time, injecting small amounts of money with a time (target) of at least 3 years. The view here is that it should reach at least 15$
Russia has full confidence in the dollar and there are no immediate plans to switch to a new reserve currency. I guess it’s too early to speak of an "alternative” to the dollar. the $USD Dollar index is also showing signs of a higher lows pattern. I posted the chart here ; gicharts.blogspot.com/...
Australian and Canadian Dollars are "commodity" related. When commodities bounce up again, it will be time to switch back to those oversold currencies.
She fills a need (most people have no financial education). Expecting more "so called gurus" to write more books on "how to survive the crash". I'll write with this title ; "How to profit from this crash, have more sex, play more golf, and look great".
