u do not understand squat about gold.
I have a $20 dollar gold piece from early 1900's that is worth a hell of alot more than $20 now. That 20 dollar bill purchasing power is worth a hell of alot less from the 1930's until today.

Hopefully ur so confident when the next -20%+ correction comes along. Some Cash is not trash when u have a 5 year up move in the markets and values are slim.

  • Philip Morris: Buy The Dip? [View article]
    MM,
Owned the stock for decades so i do not care what some johnny come lately dividend pounder is saying.
I did not say debt was bad or buybacks. I specifically said the level of debts. This company needs to stop financial engineering and stay ahead of the industry curve. FCF are stagnant and fundamentals are weakening. This high fiving mgt needs to start getting their @$$@$ in gear and stop feeding at the trough for increasing debts.
I made a ton of money on this stock cuz it's valuation stayed low and reinvested the dividends into low priced shares for decades. the current valuations are pumped up against historic valuations.

  • Philip Morris: Buy The Dip? [View article]
have owned philip morris for long time but the financial engineering the last 5 years has been horrendous. Piling on debts to these levels to boost buybacks and dividends has been totally negligent. Valuations are historically high so caution is needed.

  • Micron: The Train Is Leaving The Station [View article]
Ask those that jumped off this gravy train at $10, $15,$20,$25,$30 if it was easy money? Very few have ridden this up from single digits up here. hehehe
Sky high expectations? Investors and analyst have been kicking and screaming all the way up. wait as they finally go all in.
Even this questionable mgt have not derailed the gravy train with such powerful industry fundamentals. The overpaid execs need to get their act together in nand. just think if mu benefits big from this nand business?
This is not a buy and forget industry.
