Oil and the 'Bad News Principle'

Professor, I have no quarrel with demand factors promoting the sustanined rise n the price of oil but what we have this year is essentially a sustained spike!! Can you honestly postulate that this is precipitated by demand only versus an anemic dollar policy and market speculation???...not..... go pick up your stipend from XTO and others...and Go Home.
