I do not understand the strict policy and the disconnect this company has with the consumer once a purchase has been made. My husband purchased a piece of luggage that was not correct for what I needed it for. Like most men, he was not careful with the receipt and when I brought the item back, Target could not return it. Even though he purchased it the day before. I had to keep the luggage, the representative at the Excectutive offices said that you knew the policy before you bought the merchandise so you have to eat it. A $30 item ...then I was given a gift part of the "kool toys" line that was recalled . Not specifically the toy but looked just like it. They would not take it back or give me an exchange for anything else in the store. Terrible customer service, worse on the excecutive level. They give you a customer relations number that is worthless. They are discrimminatory on who they let return items. The way they place store and the pricing in the store is discrimminatory. Take a ride to a Target in a "good neighborhood". Prices are less, go to a not so good neighborhood prices are higher. They claim each Target has their own set of policy on prices and returns. They do not act unilaterally ..I will never be shopping with Target online or in person. JCPENNEY is fabulous this way they listen to their customers and they care. You will not be seeing me or anyone I am related to friends and family in this store anymore. THe employees they paid today at $10.00 per hour or $30k annually to get out of giving me an exchange for $20.00 is laughable. SIncerely,
Target is the worst store I have ever delt with your employees have no respect for the consumer i am an 72 year old women and have never been treated so badley i have been hung up on the phone about 5 times ,,, i called the corooprate office to speak with anyone who would talk to me who is in charge and was discounected i had bought some gifts for my grandson and didnot have a receipt and they would not give me credit or exchange for something else i was treated very badley i think your office should know this and maybe train your people to be more considerate to target customers i will never again shop in your store and will tell others about the experince i have had in targets, its a shame because i really like the store
