  • Apple Will Post A Strong Finish To 2014 - The Real Test Will Be Fiscal Q1 [View article]

    dear Author,
just as you think the stock will remain North of a 100$ this quarter, it has never looked more shaky than now.

there is a huge double Top at 100$ between now and 2 years ago on the charts and the stock looks increasingly vulnerable to some major sell-off
    the stock is very Long

I think we may well see the stock down to 90 $ possible mid 80's , the Apple Watch is not going to be such a great success, it looks horrible.

Apple missed it, the deception will be huge, although earnings may be great.

I have been very bullish on the stock, but for me it's a no touch , I think Apple lost it's magic.
one cannot really short the stock because of its still huge earning capacity, but by the time they move into their Roman Colloseum , Apple is already over the top.

you have been short for so Long, and wrong for so Long, but as you have gone through all this pain you may as well sit it out, it may well swing your way now.

  • Apple Watch Is Out... Investors Should Watch Out [View article]

Apple is no stock to short, but being Long here at a 100$ does not feel good right now, maybe it's all about timing and Apple will eventually convincingly break the 100$ level for the upside, but for now it feels like the stock is running out of steam.

it had a good run, be careful for a sharp correction, we may well see the stock down to 90 $ before making a real attempt to move to much higher levels.

also a lot of the spec money is moving to Baba , that may take money out of other stocks, especially those who had a good run, like Apple.

  • Apple Pay - Nice But Not A Big Deal [View article]
Yes, but Apple rakes in bio of $ , that's called success and the Author is simply sponsoring a loss making Position and ventilating his opinion for what purpose ? ... for ego and clicks ?
this site is called seeking alpha, so one is searching for the best possible return out of a stock at an acceptable risk.

sorry, i fail to understand the comparison you make in your comment.

I have no problem, other than the fact it would be nice for SA to keep some kind of track-record as to how well Authors are doing for calling a stock and I am amazed to see that someone who has been so wrong by so far for so Long can continue to ventilate his unaltered opinion.

this site should change its name from Seeking Alpha, into Seeking Clicks.

  • Apple Pay - Nice But Not A Big Deal [View article]
what is extremely odd, is that this Author writes loads of papers on Apple , a stock he has called completely wrong for the last 350 $, yet on the 2 stocks he claims he traded very successful MSFT and Intel he writes no papers as far as I know.

I think this Author likes to read his name and on SA one has no bigger audiance than on Apple articles, but he does not trade at all or very little, anyone investing in stocks and trading/managing their portfolio concentrates on those stocks earning him monies, not on those which keeps bleeding, irrelevant whether you are bullish or bearish on a stock.
this Author is a paper pusher, he is on SA to bolster his ego.

  • Apple Watch Is Out... Investors Should Watch Out [View article]
I would not go as far as to say TC should go, but the Apple Watch does look like a Disney Toy Watch, i fail to understand I have seen so many fantastic Artist Impressions how this thing was going to look and they come up with this ?

It's a good thing they came with the bigger phone and the credit pay, that will save the stock and keep it from selling off, if this was all about the watch, the stock is going South.
they should toss that thing in the bin and get some real designers on it, what have all these high fashion paid and bought individuals from Burberry and Dior or where ever they come from been doing ?

any Chinese Gucci handbag reproducer in a back ally in Shanghai would have done a better job.

I have to agree with the Author, after all the nice Artist impressions we have seen for many months, they came with this horrible looking Disney Watch, maybe it will sell in the States, but here I doubt very much it will become popular.
the bigger Phone looks very good and will undoubtedly sell in big volume, but there is a lot of competition out there and it's getting fiercer.
all in all I feel this is a bit of a let downthe stock may well gravitate lower, it feels heavy and full of Longs, it needs a clean out.
it is however not a stock to short and at 90$ one can approach the stock from the long side, to me looks like Apple may well move in a trading range for a while 90/110

  • Innovation Lies At The Heart Of Apple - Doesn't It? [View article]

Apple the company looks great , yet Apple's stock price looks shaky

so owning Apple's products is and will be the best for some time to come, as far as the shares go, I would rather own Lenovo for now.

  • Apple Set For Strong Sales Of iPhone 6 In Just A Few Weeks - But Is It Too Little, Too Late? [View article]
there is a serious wash-out in the making, this could get ugly and real nasty for a while, too many Longs and a lot of them at 95 $ and at a 100$ plus, these are very vulnerable.
    stock is way overbought.

if it goes down to 90$ though , buy it, the stock will recover, but for now hold your powder dry.

Apple has a tendency overshooting up and down.

  • Apple Set For Strong Sales Of iPhone 6 In Just A Few Weeks - But Is It Too Little, Too Late? [View article]
Apple is the most profitable company on the Globe, I do not listen to MB, because someone who has been so wrong on calling the stock price for so Long has lost credibility, even if one day he is proven right.
however I must say, there is some enormous anticipation in how good is Apple going to perform, I don't know, but I hope it will be no let down at the end of the day.

today for today, I would rather own Lenovo stock than Apple, maybe for the wrong fundamental reasons, but Apple does make me nervous , not so much because of its value, but because everybody is in.

  • Apple: A Reversal Of Fortune Seems Inevitable [View article]
    yes absolutely

I am looking into selling puts out of the money and with that premium buy calls out of the money, that would make me Long either at 85 or 105, the problem is if I do that bythe end of the year there is a long wait , so I would rather know where I stand in the coming weeks.

but let me be clear, I hope the stock retraces, that's no guarantee at all, the Longer Apple goes sideways between 93 and 97 , the more that comes instead of the dip.

but every time I look at the Long term chart/graph on Apple and I see that huge double Top, I think you must be insane to stay Long here, so as I don't want to end up being penny wise and pound foolish, i rather pay up knowing the stock is at new highs, than kick my self for being Long here and the stock for whatever reason fails and tanks.
because there are a lot of Longs who pilled in after the split and they are all Long right here and obviously those are vulnerable if the stock starts to hesitate.

again thank you for your earlier comment, much appreciated

I agree, with your comment - thank you

i am a fundamental Investor, but I am also a technical Trader and this presents a dilemma

as a Fundamental Investor I want to own Apple, but as a Trader I don't want to remain Long here at the previous high
I will for sure not short the stock because ultimately I want to own it, I am however in limbo, will I get lucky and buy it on a correction towards 85 $
who knows, if not I would rather buy it at 105 knowing it is at new highs and able to hold that level , than be Long here with a massive double top on the chart
so for now, I am out of the stock, knowing I will be in at 85 or 105, but today for today - No , not for me

you know the crazy thing is when MSFT made a soft-loan available to Steve Jobs to get Apple back on the rails, they should have translated that loan into a call-option on Apple shares, that would have made MSFT Apple's largest holder, but no they did not and Jobs repaid the loan.

that nightmare has been following Ballmer and Gates ever since and likely for the rest of their lives, so they thought that will not happen to us again, so with Nokia they pulled the plug and bought it , they were not going to ever make that same mistake again and those are 2 of the most successful people on this planet.

now what can we learn from that ? was Nokia mob Phones such a good buy they did not want to miss it ? No, but is was the nightmare having missed out on Apple that made them buy Nokia, because if there is even the slightest chance that Nokia may bring them a tiny, mini Apple, they will not miss it.

lesson to learn for all of us, the deal was not done because Nokia looked so great, the deal was done because they missed out on Apple and look where that company went.

yes, but you were also one of the people calling Apple at 450 to be a 350$ stock.

Apple here today at just short of 100$ ( 700$ pre split) is of course vulnerable to a pull-back, especially when stock markets around the Globe become nervous and stocks are close or at ATH, but that is not a change in trend, that would be a healthy correction.

the previous decline which started 2 year ago was initiated by a poor map launch , SJ passing away and a stock which was completely overbought, but earnings were not disappointing, analysts went crazy on Apple earnings, so yes Apple may have come short versus huge expectations, but earnings were solid.

you guys are all banking Apple doing a BBRY or a Nokia, well these last 2 companies never came even close in their best years to what Apple makes , there is absolutely no comparison.

Apple's only handicap is it sheer market cap, it is that outright number that makes people believe that is impossible to hold on to.

if Apple would divide into 3 divisions and float them seperatly, the sum of the three would be close to one trillion $
