  • Global IT Cloud Computing: India vs. China  [View article]
NotSoSmart --> "it reminds me of the so called victims of made-off.they played while they thought they were getting 12% a year instead of doing it themselves.you outsource @ your own risk & you may even generate competition by releasing secrets & procedures.of course as recent history has proven some learn the hard way."

The problem is that some companies do not enter into proper agreements and don't make provisions to protect their IP. Currently a new market is emerging of which I am a part of; a company will enter an agreement in Client's country and employees will be accountable to the Client not the Outsourcing company - Benefits are that the Client will get outsourcing benefits and also will be able to protect its IP

  • How Is China's Export Driven Economy Booming? [View article]
    Excellent article and following commentary....

I have been following you for a while now ... but I think in this article you are boosting the Chinese economy a little too much...
As far as my knowledge extends I understand that the way GDP is calculated in China is not like the USA.
An article I read on Seeking Alpha mentioned that once the government has allocated the money to the banks for certain projects it becomes a part of the GDP - but that money has not been utilized yet - not like the GDP calculation in US.

So yes the Chinese economy is better off compared to rest of the world's economies but the 8% growth (INFLATED) if at all. Later when the projects are delayed and defaults from bad loans increase things might look a lot different..

  • Comcast's Internet Cap Debate [View article]
It will also save Comcast's resources and improve their margins by a little as the system intruders will be weeded out. Talking about a normal customer, I presume 2 GB downloading capacity is enough and the space hoggers can pay more if they need more downloading capacity

I think it will be a very strategic move... They can even lower their rates for those who buy into the lower downloading capacity than lets say 250 GB.
