Sears Holdings: If Eddie Lampert Is Buying More, Shouldn't We?

One point I'd like to add:

Those are the projections "if current sales trends continue." I'm inclined to believe the outlook is conservative given Lampert's knowledge of how the Street works. I can't see him putting himself in a position to further revise estimates downward.

I tend to agree with you: Sears is turning around but the housing downturn is obscuring the company's successes. Cutting the costs now will put Sears in a fine long term position for growth.
