Cramer's Mad Money - Ode to Joy Global [View article]
Joy Global has one real competitor, which is BUCY. JOYG has a higher yield, which gives it an edge --- on top of a strong earnings report and good forward guidance. I bought JOYG at about 16 a share and held the position, while I bought BUCY at 10 and sold it at 13. JOYG seemed to be the stronger of the two, both of which seem undervalued.
CAT is a terrific company. I don't currently own the stock, but it's tempting at these prices. Would be surprised to see the dividend hold, but I don't see a great deal of downside. CAT may not participate in the China infrastructure play to the degree that JOYG will, so I view JOYG as the best of the three stocks in this environment.
Didn't Cramer recommend AZN a couple of weeks ago ---- about 10 points higher than it is now? Guess the pharmaceutical companies aren't the safe haven they used to be either ---- then again, what is?
