  • Thailand: Taking A Stake In A Changing Economy [View article]
Also, just read on Bloomberg news that Thailand increased the minimum wage. Article says it will place Thailand out of market for labor, many large firms canceling orders.
Plus you have the added ??? of when the King will pass on. My Thai friends say at that time it will be a bloodbath. He is 82 I believe.

  • Why Buy This Undervalued Timber REIT? [View article]
I am not a bear, but it sure seems that the whole market is getting a bit frothy. As tallguyz has pointed out, when it comes to REIT's P/FFO is the correct value metric.

  • Sleep Well At Night With This Dividend Aristocrat You Can Buy Right Now [View article]
    Hi Brad,
Is there a point where you sell a good solid REIT like HTA or HCP, or take some profits? Possibly when the P/FFO is at a certain ratio?
Or do you just ride it out for long term knowing you will be receiving dividends?

  • Linn Energy Sticks A Dagger In The Vocal Short Seller Crowd [View article]
I bought LINE in 2009 at around $15 and was stopped out when I was chicken and put a 10% stop on it. Then a flash crash type event happened.
It is amazing, these Wall Street insiders figure out how to screw the little guy every time he gets close to duplicating their advantage.

  • Physical Vs. Paper: Is The Gold/Silver Price Correction Over? [View article]
Gold is being manipulated. There is no other reason for decline when sovereign nations are printing and spending and other commodities like oil are going up. It is a matter of when Soros and other cabals decide that time is right to make money when it rises.

  • Equity CEFs: The Insanity Of CEF Investors [View article]
There is a reason the current admin has hired 250 thousand new tax men. They must justify their existence.
This really is a game changer for these investments. Oh well, I remember when you could write off credit card interest, and Social Security was tax free.

  • What Does QE3 Mean For The Gold Price? [View article]
I think the gold price is being manipulated big time. This is a conspiracy theory I know, but the criminal Soros' name has been bandied about. Gold should be rising.
I was once a Casino exc. in LV. One of my customers became friendly with me. When asked what he does, he replied that he was part of a cabal that manipulated gold prices. He went in detail how they did it, needing just a shift in price in very small amounts.

MLP's have been good to me, but it seems word is out. Are they too popular, meaning over priced?
Look at a chart from 1990 to present. I am using a tight trailing stop now.

  • The One Move You Must Prepare To Take - While Others Are Wringing Their Hands [View article]
Do you not think that the real core of recent corporate profits has been the nearly free or cheap credit they have gotten?
And corp profits will continue to be "good" not great until credit is more expensive?
Of course any reason for a pullback will effect short term stock prices, but long term it is the cheap money.
