    I live in high quality Ag country, Brown Co. Kansas. The run up in prices ($5K per acre here) has a direct parallel to ethanol. Which is a crazy idea and is only kept around because of politics.
    The local bankers laugh at the price run up because they have seen it before, and seen it fall. That is why they only loan 50% on farmland.
