  • Irrational Pricing in Crude Oil [View article]
While you're scratching your head 42% of world oil and gas rigs are laying in the grasses. Better than 50% right here. Fields are depleting 6 to 9% per year. The populations of the world are growing, and we want to drill the deep waters, and the Northern ice sheets (melting), and use corn (and LNG, etc) to supplement oil because the world produces 74 million a day and we need 84. Add this up, and it looks to me that we are in for a world of Doo Doo...Peace...Robert Essian

  • Geologist: In Terms of Supply and Demand, the Oil Peak Is Past [View article]
So many valid points but here is a condensed version.

    Time...

Oil will rule and the cost will sky rocket so believing in a miracle is not in the cards.

We must move quickly to wind, solar and everything else. In doing all this it will be 10 years with our fingers crossed.

We will see boom times just by changing our infrastructure to a plan advocated by Mr. Pickens.

Thing is we have to do it at some point why not yesterday.

In the short term keep the message alive by talking to everyone about this issue. I don't think Matt Simmons would mind someone else spredding his message.

Finally, Jim Klingdale has a wonderful and spirited site that is a must visit. You won't be disapointed.

  • Oil Price Drop: Bad News and Faulty Inferences [View article]
Forgive me but we need to move now. As Picken's says everything is on the table but let's go.

I could care less if he makes 100 Billion dollars off of his ideas. Lets go.

Like it or not oil is the only issue of the day.

You think oil prices are a problem now you ain't seen nothing yet.

If we can't transport our goods, be gainfully employed and provide for our family's...Has anyone hurd of "Great Depression".

Well the substance of your article is right on. Stick with the issue on this very serious problem and perhaps you might add a remedy or two that might help bring this to the conscious mind of all your readers. You could do this in place of all the fluff you found necessary to explain to us about your personal situation. My Mom used to say if you don't mean to be cavalier...Then don't be.
