One of the problems with MLP's has been hedge funds having to sell to meet redemptions or wanting to sell these as a result of lower commodity prices although many of the MLP's are pipeliners and commodity prices don't matter much.

Down slide almost totally a result of hedge fund unwinds and of course now the analysts jump in with downgrades--even though their targets remain 100-200% higher than current share prices!!!
It appears that somehow 170% YOY growth is a negative! Also don't quite get how China not being able to produce enough potash domestically is a downer also. It does smell of the typical short seller media plant.

What a lot of people don't know, analysts included, is that TRA owns 75% of TNH and also is its general partner. As the general partner, TRA's management fees will be increasing drastically up to 50% of TNH's earnings after a fairly low threshhold is met. Nitrogen is not as hot a commodity as potash but still has exceptional prospects going forward. Increased demand plus the increased share of TNH earnings make this a home run.
