Nice article. But there is a problem with number 5. It seems that the housing meltdown was all over the news paper in fall of 2007 and beginning about that time, herds of message board junkies were warning of this meltdown. Since when does a bear market begin with bad news and a bubble that makes it to the front page? I propose that this bottom will begin with good news which will turn your number 5 on its head.
