Bullish Signal from the Global Volatility Index

Are there any options or futures on your proprietary index? I'd like to set up a covered call write and a straddle on options that track your index which tracks the Vix which "tracks" equities in a way. Plus I'd like to buy and sell a credit default swap on your newsletter. Just kidding. A little humor.

Without knowing what goes into your index, I have to say I like it. All of the facets are in place for a stock market rally. Bearishness, disbelief, apathy, panic, jolt, distress and confusion are huge -- and worse, all long term, rather than short term as they were a year ago -- and further all pervade the general public. This is probably what is reflected in your index. Unfortunately, the economy trumps these psychic attributes. As more business go into receivership, the stock market will continue to fall.
