There are more potential points of failure with SaaS compared to traditionally delievered software. With SaaS, I have to depend on the software company to keep its servers up and running all the time. It is easier for a SaaS company to shut me off in the case of a billing dispute, a technical glitch, or the company shutting down. Granted, there can be benefits to SaaS as well, mainly in the areas of cost and support. But as a business owner, it would make me VERY nervous to give another company that level of control over my critical operations.
