      Coach Handbags Still Selling but for How Long?
      The main reason for the decline in Coach sales is because the name ahs been soilded by the company moving all productions to China. While they are gainging significant profit margins with cheap labor and the materials do not cost that much they continue raise their prices. The American consumer is not that big a fool. How much does it cost Coach to make a bag in China that they are selling me for $450 ? I would hazard to guess its not very much. One does not consider massed produced Chinese goods "luxury". I believe Coach has lost substancial business because of this. Now I have just read an article that says they are now going to be making the bags in Vietnam ! While teenage girls may be dumb enough to continue to lust after these bags ( I have two by the way but refuse to buy anymore) the average adult woman has had enough of Coach. And is to blame-they have devalued their name. They may not want to face that fact but it true and not facing this fact will continue their decline.
      It used to be when you saw a gal with a nice Coach bag you though about what a good investment she made in a quality bag-now people are saying " you paid $500 bucks for bag made in China !" and they shake their head.
