  • Plug Power's Q2 Report: Good But Not Great [View article]
Your statement of no way they can break even due to competition is fallacious .
If and I say if PLUG is rolled out system wide with a MAJOR Fortune 500 a positive cash flow is definitely possible.

Competition ????? Where is there competition for Material Moving energy source with as many observation hours of operation and as quick an exchange for run down batteries?

  • One Simple Reason Why AMD Can't Compete [View article]
Please find where AMD pumped and then Dumped shares to the markets.
Your article is not justified. Intel does not want AMD to fail as the resulting law suites would cause significant anti monopolistic problems.

Kindly illustrate some of your "pump and dump" allegations.

  • Will Intel Take Down AMD? [View article]
Intel can NOT afford to take the balance of market share in PC's and other cpu markets from AMD thus driving AMD out of business and INTEL will have legal liability re anti-trust and monolopistic business practices.
Just look at the suits that Intel and Microsoft have had over the past 20 years in the USA AND EU
AMD'S LOWER earnings are similar to what Intel's were during R&D ramps
I view AMD as a cheap option on the ability of the R&D to pay off
The absolute risk = $380 per 100 shares for the risk adverse use a stop at $3.00 or $298 thus a risk of less than $1.00 with a much higher reward.. Yes AMD has the volume to get out within 5% of the stop.
AMD at the current price is higher risk than Intel was at 22 due to Intel's yield ((Intel is my largest position in dollar terms)

  • Thoughts On Micron Earnings To Be Released After The Close [View article]
I totally agree Russ is not always right no one is.
Russ states his case clearly and if followed over time is much more right than wrong to play a earnings release with short term options is sensible if you have a view... risk is totally limited to a % of premium paid....
    Thanks Russ

  • Plug Power: 5 Reasons Why This 209% Gainer Hasn't Run Out Of Steam Yet [View article]
ON a technical point... PLUG IS very very hard to borrow for short sales if you can find shares.
A major broker is paying 20.5 % on an annual basis and does not have shares
The quote to borrow is 29.5% offered and 20.5 to 22.5% per annum for lenders

    Short squeeze anyone?

  • AT&T: Better Dividends On The Way? [View article]
It will take years for the takeover if it happens to have bottom line effect.
To merge Direct TV into AT&T and see if the new co. works to create more payable cash flow will take years so IMHO it is very premature to speculate on higher dividends. So far what I see is the possibility of stagnation( until the merged company generates more cash) in the price of T unless it goes down enough to generate a higher yield.
