  • Fast buying up every single-family home it can get its hands on, Blackstone (BX) is reportedly prepping the first ever securitization of REO-to-rental properties. The news follows Deutsche Bank upping to $2.1B from $600M a loan to Blackstone allowing it to buy even more homes. [View news story]
I smell another big scam whenever I see the word "securitization."

Great and informative article InvestmentU. This metal is often over-shadowed by gold and silver and it now has my attention. I will definitely be purchasing some as a hedge.

  • Boring Week Waiting for RIM's Buyback but a Big Move Is Brewing [View article]
I think (RIMM) will go private before Canada let's its biggest tech company get bought out by (GOOG) or (AAPL). Despite the company's lack of innovation let's not forget that BlackBerry's are the most secure smartphones out of the bunch.

  • Tablet Wars: RIM Gets Aggressive With Apple iPad Comparisons [View article]
It's apples and oranges. The Playbook will be geared more towards enterprise and business usage. The iPad is geared more towards the everyday person.
