Don't you find it typical AND despicable, that Sen. Dodd, recipient of $133,900 Fannie and Freddie lobbies dollars from 89-08, and Chairman of the Senate finance committee, would not let the 2005 oversight reform bill pass in the Senate? And here is is now demanding an investigation into why all this happened? Dick Morris' book "Outrage" has a very nice write up on this. McCain expressed concern re FNM and FRE in early 06 and wanted more oversight. the Dems are simply insane.
