You might like to take a look at Linde (LNEGY.PK). They're building an LNG facility in China to supply trucks--they say LNG engines produce more power than diesel--and they also have plans to build a liquefaction facility on a ship. For a few years now, they have been hawking a hydrogen economy, and they have deployed fueling stations in Europe for hydrogen-powered cars. LNG is certainly less of a challenge than hydrogen, as it's not under pressure in the vehicle, so this looks like a smart move for them.
