If Chris is correct, what is likely is that the market will go down in the second quarter of next year. The old "sell in May and go away" may again apply. If you followed that this year, you missed a big run up. Next year it is likely to apply again.
Dave, please add MOO back to your list. I think that we will be looking at agi again when the drought in the southern hemisphere becomes more pronounced.
VLO has placed a $280mm bid for five of VSE's plants. As these are dry milling plants, they can only produce ethanol and animal feed. So they may not have much appeal to ADM, as ADM has two wet milling palnts coming online in the next twelve months.
Almost agree with you. Ethanol makes gasoline burn cleaner and is used to boost octane. It is very efficient up to a 10% consentration.
