  • Apple Continues To Present Tremendous Upside  [View article]
Only a matter of time before "dead money" surfaced. Speaking of Apple products like iWatch and iTV, how is Google wallet doing? Or their barge to nowhere, Google Glass and the number one product we all want, the driverless car? At least Apple makes products people actually use. And so far, they haven't had to sell one of their acquisitions for a multi-billion dollars loss. Now that's dead money.

  • Citing upcoming catalysts, UBS puts Apple (AAPL +1.6%) on its Most Preferred list, helping shares outperform in early trading. The firm was among the first to raise alarm bells about iPhone order cuts. Apple is now up 11% from its March 4 low.  [View news story]
Exactly where are you getting that information about tens of millions sold by insiders? I checked Yahoo finance and saw no indication of that. Are you referring to people exercising options?

The only plus to buying Comcast would be to fire Melissa Lee and Cramer. Otherwise, they can just put themoutof business by mope ting with hem directly. Buy Disney and cut a del itch the NFL for $1.5 billion. Chump change.

Excellent article and analysis. Curious what your take is on the NY Times article on Barry Diller and potentially disruptive retransmission technology Aero.

  • What Segment Will Continue To Drive Google's Growth?  [View article]
Google's potential is hardly "limitless." Have you been watching this stock lately or reading the news? This stock will get hammered in the coming months and rightly so. If the bears don't do it in Samsung will.

Sorry. Just not buying what you're selling here. Frankly, Apple bashing is starting to go out of fashion. You're late. Most of the paid for analysts are going after Google and Amazon of late. Get with the program dude!

  • Apple - Hold On Tight And Don't Play Wall Street's Game  [View article]
Well said. Too many retail investors get played by day traders and hyperactive, knee jerk short sellers. Ignore the hype and believe in the fundamentals and the history and future of a great company -- Apple.

  • Apple: $420 A Share Could Have Marked The Bottom  [View article]
Yes. That is correct. I prefer the Korean school of technical analysis and strategy: observe, copy and steal. Been working great for Samsung.

That's a joke, right? What else? Do you throw bones on the floor during Squawk on the Street to see what pattern falls out before buying puts?

  • Apple's Samsung Problem Can't Be Solved  [View article]
Well hey, now you can take a picture of yourself taking a picture! I mean we've all been waiting for that feature. Not to mention waving at your phone looking like you just graduated from a-hole school. I think Samcopy went out on their own instead of their usual ripping off some one else's ideas and innovations and they ended up with a silly looking, cheap plastic brick that turned out to be a giant yawn. C'est la guerre.

  • Apple Is Being Psychologically Crushed By Samsung  [View article]
I must admit, I've been walking around all day with this kind of "crushed" empty feeling. Staring blankly into my iPhone 5 and just wondering if it was worth it. Like Juggler, I believe I am psychologically damaged. I took a few Lorazapam, threw back a rather large, bone dry martini, watched Apple tv for a few hours, and even that didn't help. I had Dr. Kavokian's 800 number, called it and no one answered. Then my wife told me he was dead. I'm going to seek help as this "Crushed" Samsungishness is now affecting my job performance and my relationship with my wife. The horror. The horror.

  • Apple: $420 A Share Could Have Marked The Bottom  [View article]
Apple will put Comcast out of business in three years. Try turning off cable for a few days and use Roku and Apple TV. More people are "unplugging" every day and a massive audience of a younger generation will never sign up for cable. These forums are full of day traders who can't see the Forrest for the trees. Analysis and observations come from one dimensional, static views of a company using meaningless technical analysis as a substitute for strategic thinking, market trend analysis and connecting the dots. One would be better off considering whether Apple will buy Disney and cut a deal with the NFL than whether or not a "head and shoulder" are forming.

  • Apple: $420 A Share Could Have Marked The Bottom  [View article]
As soon as you read "...head and shoulders formation" you know it's time to go to the next comment. As if this stuff really matters. You're a lot closer to the truth when you talk about Doug Kass and other hedge fund criminals like him. They, and the media muppets on their payrolls, have more to do with stock behavior than the absurd technical terms day traders and short sellers seem so obsessed with. You can interpret all the bear flags and head and shoulders you want, but NONE OF IT MATTERS.

  • Why Apple Rose On Samsung's Big Day  [View article]
To Aardvark3's comment...isn't the bigger question here how and why this choreographed manipulation of the market is allowed to go on? Retail investors are the fodder for Miller, Kass, CNBC and Wall Street in general. Aardvark is correct. You could smell this coming. When the trigger gets pulled just comes down to when. All of a sudden the stories about Google start to turn from "can do no wrong" to "something isn't quiet right." In the coming weeks the volume and intensity of criticism of Google will steadily increase, while its share price gradually decreases. Apple will announce pro shareholder programs and a really cool new product or two. Their share price will finally cross $500, then hit $550 by Summer and the story will continue. The back story could be Amazon as the Enron of the Internet and a Netflix acquisition. Many of us will be confused, many others, like Aardvark, will know we've been had...again. And again and again. The true art of Wall Street is picking the players in their next drama; the victims are poor fools like us.
