Agree. Time to bust the bears and those F'kng short sellers who play the stock like their personal yoyo. Split it 10-1 and the shorties have to go and jerk off some other stock all day long. Give those jerks something o do besides tweet each other all god damn day. How about Google for a change?

They're going to buy Samsung, close it down and send their chairman to jail where he belongs for fraud and theft.

  • Why You Should Buy Apple Now [View article]
Apple will acquire Disney which also gets them CBS and ESPN. They'll take on and gut the current cable model...a $2.2 trillion market they do not operate in. (Time to short Comcast). They'll make a deal with the NFL and then reinvent TV and the TV experience (user interface). They will also increase the dividend and buy back shares more aggressively. That should do it.

Try Disney. That gets Apple CBS and ESPN as well. They will then cut deals ith the NFL. They then attack Comcast and reinvent television... both the physical and consumption versions of it. This is a $2.2 trillion market Apple is not in. Page 555 of Jobs bio. He called it back then. He cracked the code on TV. It is coming this year. Apple will announce it and catch markets, media, naysayers and so called experts with their pants down.

  • Google (GOOG) looks like it will again get away with breaches of privacy - in the U.S. at least - with the company reportedly nearing an agreement with over 30 states to pay just $7M to settle allegations that it improperly collected personal information over a three-year period when mapping its Street View service. A deal could be announced this week. [View news story]

  • Why Apple Should Follow IBM's Successful Turnaround Story [View article]
This whole "Apple is in trouble" bs is getting tedious. Anyone notice the subtle but increasingly negative stories on Google and Amazon recently? The hedggies and MMs are getting ready to turn on Google and Amazon as the next piece of fresh meat. It's all a game. Can't you see that? I realize we all want to think the market can be analyzed applying technical analysis and evaluating company fundamentals, but in the end it is pointless. It's a casino.

  • Google: Same Day Delivery Not A Game-Changer Yet [View article]
Yes. I would agree that from a behavioral perspective it would be a significant change. Not necessarily for the better, but certainly it would have an impact and interesting repercussions for many other businesses up and down the fulfillment and delivery food chain.

  • Google: Same Day Delivery Not A Game-Changer Yet [View article]
Do you really believe same day delivery falls into the "game changer" category? Are we that much of an ADHD, "me" culture that the difference between one and to days to get a widget in the mail turns our whole world on its head? Sorry, but its not exactly the cure for cancer. Want a good example of a meaningful game changer? How about he iPad app that the US Navy research institute is developing for dealing with post traumatic stress disorder among veterans returning from combat and in combat. I think you would benefit from some perspective on the nature of the real world in your analysis.

  • More on Apple: Raymond James reports many iPhone suppliers have "recently indicated an expectation of earlier seasonality," and takes it as evidence of a pending refresh. A big drop in shipments is expected for the June quarter, followed by Sep. quarter growth. The big question for Apple is whether an iPhone 5S that keeps a 4" display (as has been reported) will lead to a major sales pickup in the face of growing demand for larger displays, and the upcoming launch of Samsung's Galaxy S IV. However, an early 5S release would suggest an accelerated launch for an iPhone 6 rumored to have a bigger display. [View news story]
Wrong. Apple is not worried about Samsung. They worry about the quality of their products and the satisfaction level of their customers. If they do worry about Samsung, it's what new invention they have that Samsung will steal or copy next.
