WisdomTree's New Currency Income ETFs

As of today (6/27/08) the prospectus clear states the dividend paying frequency of each fund. US is monthly, Euro/Yen is quarterly (ie, the ones that actually hold foreign bonds), the remainder are annually.

I'm an ETF newbie, but I expected that ETF would report income/gains on 1099's, not K-1's. Can people with more experience comment on which they are getting? Is there a difference between ETF's and ETN's?
