What's Happening at Apple: Steve Jobs

I think that this whole matter has been blown completely out of proportion. For example, why would Apple want to announce products at MacWorld this year when the 25th Anniversary of the Mac is about two weeks later?? I can see some "minor" product updating at MacWorld, but an Apple Event on the anniversary makes a lot more sense (especially if Apple were again going to announce something revolutionary in terms of products and/or operating system.

Quit whining. Have you bothered to check what the prices are elsewhere besides the US?? Obviously not.

Yes Rogers is greedy (and has terrible service in my experience), but there's nothing that Apple can realistically do about it if Canadian customers want the iPhone. Certainly Telus or Bell would be no better.

With a low population density, the fixed infrastructure costs are going to always make cellular costs higher in Canada.
