Actually, to the contrary, if there is so much gas so easy to find,, it is not a good investment. What if 100 companies found huge deposits of gold, it would be a bad idea to invest in.

The value of doubling production by 2020 is of no value to we investors. Many of us will be dead by then. There are far more compelling investment ideas than waiting for eleven years for production to double. I saw the Petrobras presentation at the recent Money Show in Las Vegas. The same concept prevailed, slow growth and many many years for the profits to come. I am too old to wait ten years for a mere doubling of production.

Unfortunately, the oil will not flow in large quantities for many years. There is no need to invest right now. I do not want to wait ten years for earnings to surge. For young investors, buy and put away and forget for ten years. The rewards will be great. For us old folks, we need a quicker payoff.
