  • Questioning Tahoe Resources' Social License  [View article]
TAHO is best of breed. There is a considerable amount of money pooring from them into the local economy. Besides the good neighbor projects that employ locals and improve infrastructure, taxes flowing from TAHO to Guatemala with silver at 21 amount to about 50 million yearly. The argument presented by locals for water poisoning is one which has it's basis in private individuals mining the land. TAHO recycles, refines and recaptures it's chemicals. They know what's at stake. The idea that their lack of transparency is somehow sinister is a falsehood presented by detractors resulting from legal department advise to button up every time a court case is pending.

TAHO's multiple stands far above the rest for a good reason. If you don't want to invest it should be because silver is weak right now and not for the reasons outlined by this author.

    Is the mine real. Yes
    Is the mine profitable. Yes
Has the CEO ever failed to meet a deadline or qualification. No
Is TAHO about to initiate a dividend. Yes

Speculating from afar to arrive at assumptions of abuse that haven't been proven is one of the most absurd criteria I've ever seen for stock selection.

The pricyness is probably the result of expectations involving the future promised dividend.

  • Capstone Turbine Executive Compensation: Who Does This Board Represent?  [View article]
Rules don't govern they only justify the prosecution and then only when the powers are willing.

In 2008-9 and 2010 when Capstone was almost delisted the revenue was a lot lower.

    Why cheat to the negative?
Because they don't believe in there own product and the negative allows them the cash they need through dilutions to enrich their pockets. Lying and stealing are brothers together and Jamison is a liar and he knows it. Sarbanes Oxley only applies during a trial and this company is to small for the SEC to spend money on.

What produces the money for the bonuses but the secondary's constantly issued by a necessity of losses. One cent. Don't you find it remarkable that the earnings of a cyclical company in a booming period never fluctuate?

Anyone who has followed the market for any length of time knows two plus two doesn't have to equal four. This companies uncanny ability to report one cent losses consistently in spite of increasing revenue smacks of corruption in the numbers.

I voted no to all board proposals'.
The poison pill deserves the biggest no though. There's nothing for them to worry about ( certainly not the shareholders) as long as that's in existence.

  • Capstone Turbine Looks To Extend Poison Pill  [View article]
Anyone new or old to Capstone should vote no across the board to every proposal submitted by this team of parasitic monkeys. It's the least they deserve for their continued incompetence. It's too bad Rand Kay sold. His votes were one we could I'll afford to loose.

  • Barron's: Covanta investors can clean up  [View news story]
Covanta is very nice. Easy to understand. Pays a very sustainable dividend and is not economically dependent. It's garbage and recycling in a zero rate zero growth economy. Safer than bonds with a higher yield and more potential plus it's liquid enough to move.

The question involving ownership of this stock and it's price has nothing to do with your inference points and everything to do with interest on the long bonds. If you think bond rates are going to climb long term substantially then you should sell. If you believe America has entered into the Japanese model with declining industry, a reliance on real state and Socialism as the driving political force then you should hold and acquire. For the Japanese model is one of ultra low rates ad infinitum.

  • Capstone Turbine Earnings Reaction  [View article]
Most corrupt management teams prefer not to do or show certain things but at least they know how to give the IRS a loss and investors a win. This team can't even do that. They find new ways every year of growing the company but still losing a penny. How hard is that penny to these monkeys managing this ship. A year ago they wanted us to believe that margins by now were to have grown to 20%. Just what have they discovered this last year that they were missing in the previous ten?

  • Office Depot: Shortsighted Analysis Leads To Gross Undervaluation  [View article]
Most companies are dead in the water because they are top heavy and suffer from a bloated arrogant leadership that can only see the fault as foreign in its origination. The new CEO, a turn around specialist, started exactly where he needed to cutting 30% of the corporate staff and 50% of upper management. With proficiencies' opinionated blathering, low post total and lack of facts, I'm wondering whether or not he might have been one of the ones who were chopped.

  • Capstone: Contrarian Investment Opportunity In This Microturbine Manufacturer  [View article]
Obama and his legions of green fascists are about to unleash the third wave of their attack on coal. The hardest hit should be the smaller rural co-ops that produce cheap electricity using coal.

For a company that makes no money and is very poorly run this might be just the catalyst the doctor ordered. Imagine what would happen if a mass exodus from coal was forced. Companies that offer power generation from natural gas would benefit.
