Real Networks New DVD Ripper: Are You for Real?

Disclosure: I DO work for real. And, I think you're missing the point of the program. We're not trying to compete with illegal ripping software that the hard core tech crew uses. We're hoping people who want a simple program- an easy way to watch movies when traveling will use the product. The program itself is small, will not install anything else at all, and it downloads quickly.

Our license from the DVD CCA allows us to use the technology. It is up to the user to not break the law with regards to rentals. We obviously don't condone the program for that usage.
