Forecast on Energy Conversion Devices: Jim Cramer vs. Jeffrey W. Bencik

Regarding ENER: I have followed this company's progress for more than eight years. I have seen few companies piss away more shareholders and strategic partners money than ENER. Stan the man is a visionary, no doubt, and Stempel, please! Can these two ever run a business for profit? Doubt in their lifetimes, maybe not mine. Yes, they have the benefit of having built all of this amorphous silicon capacity at just the right time. I have serious doubts about the long-term viability of amorphous silicon. Its primary benefit being low cost may not outweight its low efficiency and degradation over time. I don't think AS is where the future is heading. If the nickel metal hydride fiasco is any clue as to how ENER will screw up its current advantage in AS, then you better hope that history does not repeat.
