3 Theories on Why Fewer eBay Listings Are Showing Up on Google [View article]
If Google deliberately decrease the relanvancy of eBay's listing in their search. I think the problem is at Google not eBay. At the end of the day, It's Google's stupid strategy that is hurting small businesses like ours.
All of you who commented on how eBay sucks, and how eBay is doing things to hurt your business. Use your brain and think who is actually the one that is trying to run your business out. It's not eBay the company that provided you guys the platform to do your business. It's Google, the company that is trying to screw every single industry. Search, Newspaper, and now even the Wireless Phone industry. They will eventually start selling gTanpons, gCondoms, gStrings, gSpots....
How Would an eBay Layoff Impact Sellers? [View article]
I just realized that I am stupid. The article CLEARLY indicated that the layoff is not from an official EBAY source. So, that means that it is absolutely okay for them to continue hiring. I am just dumb and stupid to call them crooks without properly justifying for it.
Also, I am so dumb that I didn't even know what layoff really means. By laying off employees, it doesn't necessary means that I can't continue to hire. I just can't hire for the same position, but I can still hire talented employees, which I am too dumb to qualify for anyway.
eBay Asked to Pay $63M in Fraudulent Merchant Suit [View article]
I don't get why LV / Gucci can't tackle their own problem, but instead blame their problems on another company. eBay provides a channel for people to buy and sell on the open market. Just like newspaper classified, poster at a super market bulletin board, TV, Radios, or between friends. eBay is not a buyer or seller. They are the medium that connects them to complete the sales. How are they held liable for LV/Gucci's problem, which had been around for a long time.
Not allowing companies like eBay to act as a medium for people to resell expensive products like LV or Gucci translate to their products having no resell value. Once you bought the stupid overpriced bag, you have no way of reselling it. The bag is literally worthless after you walk out the door. There is no longer any reason to spend thousands of dollars on such piece of crap just to show off to your friends.
