I think this posting is talking only about large foreign companies. Chinese use their bank accounts, having applied for special internet accounts. Or they use a Tabao account, a zhefubao account, and avoid paypal because it is not as secure; with Taobao one acknowledges receipt online (or after 7 days it automatically pays). Never seen COD used, and have had bad luck with EMS extorting people for expensive products shipped through them to distant provinces, like Qinghai.
