Four Ways to Capitalize on 'Super Contango'

The rich is the minority.

This is esp true for options trade and futures trade. Most people lose or at best balance out in these trades. Following the herd in options and futures market is the surest way to assure zero or negative gains.

So follow the advise of this article if you like.

Personally, I think the contango is just another bubble waiting to burst. Think about it, the deflation / depression has no timeline, yet contango bets on the continued availability of a fixed resource (i.e. container ships) as well as the continued financing of this "bottling up" of oil.

If depression lasts longer than expected, or if the recovery is weaker than expected, then whoever owns all those contango ships will need to wind down their trade, which could cause a "run for the exits" situation, further crashing oil prices.
