  • Lithium-Ion Batteries and Centerfolds [View article]
Seems like GM is pretty firm on going lithium-ion for their EV's at least...why else would you need 3 million lithium-batteries a month for?

  • China Will Push Increased Demand for Rare Earths [View article]
    Excellent article Mr. Lifton.

Avalon is a solid one to look for - what I'm excited about is International Lithium - they have the same guy who discovered Avalon's Separation Rapids from OGS working for them - Dr . Fred Breaks. ILC is a wholly owned subsidiary of TNR.v.

Other TSX mentions include : RM.v, CLQ.v, WLC.v., would appreciate your thoughts on any of them, thanks! As far as I know International Lithium seems to have the biggest portfolio, although CLQ arguably has one closest to production, unless brines that ILC owns can be brought to production stage in less than 2 years.

  • Van Eck Files for Junior Miners ETF [View article]
This should help liquidity on the junior sector... better buy the quality producers up quick!! Institutional buying of this magnitude (most have under $50M market cap) should mean 100%+ gains

  • Lithium Supply: Enough to Cover Demands [View article]
Thanks for the excellent and very informative post!

I will be putting up an article reviewing some smaller venture groups on the TSX - lithium still seem to be an interesting element in it producers are really majors (FMC / SQM) or small non-producers with potentially resource properties.

I'm in the process of reviewing some good TSX Ventures companies - would you be able to offer any insights on the following Mr. Evans?

Western Lithium Corp (WLC:TSX) (Robert Friedland group) - claims can recover lithium from hectorite clay. Big backers, funds, and solid management names, I'm guessing this could be the Potash1 of Lithium.

International Lithium Corp - subsidiary of TNR Gold Corp (TNR:TSX) - big portfolio projects spanning pegmatites in Ireland, Canada and two large brine (salt lake) projects in all the right places - Argentina & Nevada - sampling of brine reported same as current producers

Canada Lithium Corp (CLQ:TSX) - reviving Chevron past lithium producer in Quebec Canada (pegmatite producer) - announced reasonable recovery rates and deal with Japan distribution once production becomes economic (2+ yrs?)

  • Another Dumb Idea From Google  [View article]
There are far worse things in the world than unbridled creativity. I, for one, thought this was a smart idea especially for those of us with more emotion than brains.

Alas, what do I know, I only averaged 43% return on gold ETF and bullion last 3 years : )

  • Financial Short Interest and the SEC [View article]
Even without legal shorts - there are still bearish ETF's and ultrashort ETF that utilize dark pool equities

It's a market equalizer gone wrong without regulation - now it's so massively complicated there won't eb enough time to get to the bottom of it - let DOW hit 7,000 and have massive panic in the streets, then we'll really be worried

  • Rate Cuts? What About Inflation? [View article]

Inflation is a distant second worry to the Feds Reserve now

Beside we all know the real dollar inflation is much much higher than 4% that is being broadcasted ... just look at food prices and commodity prices. USD rise and fiat dollar rise is a false rally - commodity hasn't taken off yet

Just look at NY Time's Zimbabwe article and tell me i'm wrong - failed government in massive debt printing money = people lining up at 4am for a whole day just to have enough to buy a bar of soap
