    I own Mag Silver. I have not looked at Great Basin.

    The officlal CPI gives $2400. But the official figure is manipulated and has been modified several times over the years to make it appear low. For example, food and energy were (if I recall correclty) removed from it beause they were causing it to go up to high. The figure of $6500 is obtained when you use the CPI which was in place in 1980, and which many people think is a much more reliable measure of true price increase
