  • Investors Appear Less Enamored with Dividend Paying Companies  [View article]
    It's not that most dividends WILL be cut, but nearly any dividend COULD be cut. All it takes to pummel a company's price is guilt by association.
    It is difficult to find any fundamental analysis that works in this market.

  • Pension Underfunding: The Next Earnings Shock? [View article]
    The pension "shock" is definitely going to surface in the near future, along with commercial real estate default "shock" and a treasuries "shock". Deleveraging is a slow and painful process. Are we near the end of this yet? Not hardly.
