  • High-Flying Airlines Set For A Rough Landing [View article]
"Since the airlines did not adjust fares lower during the period when jet fuel prices were plunging, it would be virtually impossible for them to adjust them higher now that jet fuel has rallied, as much as they would love to. ". Really? Summer traditional money making time for these airlines. Same delta flight I take every summer is priced 25% higher then last year. This small investor thinks recent swoon good time to consider entry point in this sector.

  • Sovaldi Versus Abbvie Combination: Analysis Of Abbvie Combination Impact On Sovaldi Market Share [View article]
717 - I respectfully disagree, I think the bottom line will be a win win for both companies, but ABBV must price lower, coming into the game later then GILD. Does anyone really think Scripts or other distribution channels will not be putting downward pressure on GILD prices going forward?

  • Sovaldi Versus Abbvie Combination: Analysis Of Abbvie Combination Impact On Sovaldi Market Share [View article]
I think author is underestimating the price differential expected when ABBV regime is approved this month. In most diagnosis, it ain't the doctor making the decision of which drug but rather the insurance company that is paying for it. The insurance carriers will use ABBV to push GILD Sovaldi and Harvini prices down, pushing both margin and market share of GILD HIV drugs down. Simple play for me is to play both GILD and ABBV long

  • After A Parabolic Run, It Is Time To Sell Overbought Airline Stocks [View article]
Lazy article in my opinion. Oil, single largest expense to airlines, will stay low for quite sometime, absent world craziness that can happen at anytime (Ebola, terrorism, etc.). Airlines vigilant in keeping supply (planes, seats) low and thus demand high. They will continue to squeeze us till it hurts and profits continue as a result. Way to early to take profits IMHO

  • Why Is Gilead Always Holding The Ace? A Prediction Of The Future HCV Market And What Analysts Aren't Talking About [View article]
All the technical info presented makes my head swim. A year ago, a friend of mine here in Florida was deemed cured for his HepC in Florida clinical trial from ABBV. He had no side effects from the treatment (Ribavarin) and I bought ABBV that day (@38). I also bought GILD (@78) and remain long both. I asked him yesterday again to assure he is cured (he is) but also asked him about GILD. He has 2 friends who were not cured under GILD regime so I guess they represent the 1%, I don't know the details. I agree with a previous post above that playing both these stocks long is the way to go.

  • Micron Gives Investors More Reasons To Buy Its Cheap Shares [View article]
Huskie - I believe the buy back decision by BOD was a result of the (ridiculous) offer by a Hedgie of buying 5% OF mu shares at $27 when it traded around 31.

  • Positives Mounting For Beaten Down Micron [View article]
mmtache - your comments make no sense given fact no one knows what the Samsung fab would/will manufacture by the build out date projected. Demand for memory projected to nearly double by 2017 and assuming Samsung completes this fab build out, do you know as a fact it will compete directly with MU primary cash cow of Dram? A PE (2015 forward now single digit PE) does mean MU is undervalued, MU generating super FCF and being long MU I am supposed to worry about 2017 future date of a fab yet to know it's own destiny?

  • As You Can See, The Semiconductor Risk Materialized [View article]
I think MCHP announcement like fishing on the bank with a broken reel and no line only to say there are no fish left in the river, nothing is biting any longer. Fly shops then to close doors because there are apparently no fish and somehow the fishermen believe the end is near. Amazing to me what a single (misleading) company announcement can trigger. Long INTC and MU
