Nice, the company has its stride back, with good things to come. Imagine the power AMD can bring you when on level playing field for manufacturing feature size with Intel. And spend more on R&D while making higher margins from spinning off their foundries and debt.
Who really thinks Nvidia has some technological lead over AMD or INTEL? Thats just funny. Both AMD and INTEL have loads more technology than Nvidia, which is why NVDA is in trouble. Nvidias technology right now was to throw as many circuits on a die as possible which makes the die larger, fewer on a wafer, lower yields/reliability from the ones that survive. Nvidia has been lucky that software programmers favored their architecture and drivers. Nvidia is a good company but I wouldnt say they have any technology edge in the semiconductor business. The only reason they have grown this large is the absence of competition because they bought them all out in the 90s or they were competing with Intel or VIA who dont care about graphics, and then ATI showed up and gave the world better products and competition to Nvidia.
