  • Equity Research Analysts Covering Apple Hit The Bulls-Eye! [View article]
I couldn't take the author serious when he proposed Apple might become MySpace. Where do these guys come from? He must be a Poindexter buried in some analytical world of number crunching history....not able to envision a future. Like they say, there are two kinds of people, those that make history (Apple) and those who report it (historians & authors).

  • Can Samsung Crush Apple's Tablet Market Share? [View article]
That is the most myopic comment I have ever heard. It is obvious you don't get it and never will. Apple innovates across all of their product and service lines and has revolutionized every aspect of our digital life for decades. Especially, in the past 10 years. They combine the highest level of design, architecture, technology, usability and the customer experience in ways others can only dream of. Apples track record and record cash should be your first clue. Companies like Samsung create products that are "cheapa, cheapa, cheapa" and made like crap. Yeah a similar app may run on a sSa,sung device but ask any android user how that app works and looks across all of the android devices out there. Yes, android is open source and IT hacks might like it, but so did a lot of people with crappy Microsoft operating systems. The masses have limited vision and taste to what an elegant solution is all about. Apple waits to incorporate design and technology that works before they deploy crap like everyone else does. Apple takes the high road to quality and profitability to sustain them long term while others scrape the bottom for the small margin pieces that keep them in the scrambling year after year to copy. Samsung is one of those companies that gets wind of what Apple is working on and tries to beat them to the market with a half baked solution and then markets to the world they are innovating. When in fact, they are copying ahead of the curve. Everyone is trying to beat Apple in the innovation game. There is bleeding edge and leading ge in that game. Choose wisely and you will have a better product and profit. Choose unwisely and you will be driving a shiny new Yugo.

  • What Was Tim Cook Thinking? An Analysis Of Beats Electronics [View article]
Do you not think that Apple's design and product team will not enhance and innovate the Beats product line in the future while improving all aspects of the quality and experience of the brand. And they are called Beats for an obvious reason, a little more bass gives the sound a soul and quality they were looking for. I am confident the integration of Beats with Apple products and growing wearables is in their sights. And probably the home and auto too. Plus, it's a brand you can do so much with. Apple will also figure out a way to handle music delivery. I'm not worried about that. Plus, they can acquire anything they want to improve their dominance and influence. Google and Facebook haven't exactly made stellar or well advised acquisitions in their quest to chase new segments, even if it didn't fit their business model or a smart business move. One thing Apple isn't dumb.

  • Beats: Apple Puts A Ring On It For $3 Billion [View article]
None of those headphone makers have even put a dent in Beats. Many missed the opportunity and are playing catch-up. Just ask Monster headphones who helped Beats originally. They saw Beats blow right by them and didn't even realize it until it was too late. They gave Beats the keys to the Bentley. And the rest is history. And btw, they are very good products. And they have margin.

  • 3 Reasons Apple Buying Beats Is Smart [View article]
Beyond the obvious move to own the music mindshare and market share.....There is tons of room for innovation in this category. Room as in physical space to put more technology "in" the headphones and room to innovate what they become and how people use them. Google bought Nest when I personally wished Apple that extends the device and ecosystem deeper into the home as new products come out, which in my opinion would of been a better fit with Apple vs Google. Regardless, Apple is smart and by no means does this represent they cannot innovate. People need to stop that view. It is totally false. The Beats acquisition price tag seems a little speedy, but Carlisle group and the founders had to get a multiple to cash out.

  • Apple Depends On Strong Demand For The iPhone 6 [View article]
I won't even read his stuff. I just came directly to the comments section to say......

The new iPhone 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 (and beyond) will be a HUGE success and easily trump any device launch to a huge margin. Myopic, non-visionary people drive me crazy.

  • Apple: I Absolutely, Positively, Disagree With Ugly Duckling, I Think, Maybe [View article]
This is, perhaps, the most well versed article (and response to some ill-conceived theories) on the state of Apple (in just one sliver of the company's efforts). Add this to the totality of what Apple is involved in....and it should boggle everyone's mind. There are traders, there are naysayers and shorts, there are fan boys (and lovers of Apple...and rightfully so in my book), and there are long term investors who see the real intrinsic value (and growth) in the one of the greatest companies of all time. And, I believe, they are just getting started on what Apple can truly become. Wait for the next great products, Wait for them to move into inspirational headquarters and wait for them to continue to innovate and amaze. And wait for your investment to pay off.
