  • Preserving U.S. Economy Over Free Markets (Short Sellers) [View article]
I am one of those millions of retired, elderly people who was advised by slick talking people in banks, S&Ls, on TV and in newspaper columns and magazines, and yes including AARP, to buy diversified stocks in "solidly valued companies" for the long term. Bad advise! How can people like us survive against greedy billion dollar hedge fund trash whose sole purpose is bag a lot of cash by ganging up on a company and devaluing its stock.

My solution is to create a new and separate stock exchange where a US company could have its stock simply bought or simply sold. No shorts, naked or otherwise, no puts etc. allowed. Nothing! If you like the stock you buy it. If you don't like it you sell. Simple as that! If companies want to have their stock shorted or whatever, stay with the NYSE.

  • July Payroll Playbook [View article]
Lots of burger flipping, picking strawberries and changing bedsheets jobs out there. Nothing wrong with these at minimum wage.

  • What the SEC Really Accomplished with Its New 'Short-Sell' Rule  [View article]
Lets just make it simple. If ya like a stock buy it if you have the money. Then if you own the stock and you don't like it, sell it. No shorting, no anything if you dont have the money and buy it outright. No margines. Thats my plan for an honest, level playing field stock market.

  • Banking on Bailouts: How Many IndyMacs Are Out There? [View article]
One great benefit for other banks (who are also not doing well that serve the same area as IndyMac) is that Depositor's money drained from InyMac will go to them. As IndyMacs' deposits are in the thirty billion dollars or so range, that will greatly ease the capitalization of those other poor performing banks. JUST MAYBE INDYMACS DEMISE IS A GOOD THING!
