Why I Got Gold Wrong

Can anyone tell me what you think the true price of gold is now, not the gov. manipulated spot price. Since gold is priced by the dollar, Is it really going up in other currencies as well? I hope this is'nt a goofy question but I really would like someone to answer. You all seem to know more about the subject than me. I've only started reading "seeking alpha" for a few weeks, though my instinks were correct since I agree with most of you.

No jd51- Your part right, but mostly wrong. When Clinton was Pres. the situation was managable. Still you right about both partys following the same economic methods. Clinton would not have allowed the situation to get this bad. You probably blame Clinton for 9-11, invading Iraq and as you said the current economic colapse. I think some people love their party more than they love their country.

Did someone mention something about conservatives? I'm very conservative with my money, investing in sure things such as gold and silver, so why do the "conservatives" think that loose regulations and unsecured loans are the "right" thing to do? Spending money you dont have like there is no tomarrow, whats so conservative about that? Our nincompoop President will be prursecuted by his own making, however I dont care about him. I care about my country, The United States of America. However, you history bufs remember the mid thirtys in Germany, the most patriotic germans died in the concentration camps opposing hitler while the lessor patriots died in the battlefields supporting an evil nation. Evil at that time, anyway. If we do wrong in Iraq or anywhere else in the world just for economic gain then I'll refuse to suppot it, Lord Willing.

Henry Paulson is a dirty piece of scum. Maybe so but we're in this situation because we voted for G. W. B. We didnt want to pay taxes and we wanted less gov. I think less gov. really means less corp. regulation.and less taxes for the wealthy. It doesnt matter if YOU didnt vote for him, America did.

I wanted to mention, of course hypotheticly, a hot war with Russia is very possible with this administration. Also, Theology, according to the born againers war is right around the corner. I read Debka files all the time and things are getting tense. I know this is not the forum for speaking these things but what affect they would have on gold would be fanomanal (Please forgive any misspelling I might have made)
