    Great article! I'm in full agreement. While I'm hopeful for a more advanced battery technology, today's technology isn't ready for prime time. I can't even imagine dumping so much money into a vehicle so dependent on batteries when we really don't know much about how long it will take a full charge, and what replacement batteries will cost.

    What a joke! Even a 10 year warranty is a rip off. We're talking about a vehicle that costs considerably more than a gasoline powered vehicle which clearly will have little resale value. Not ready for prime time is an understatement. This vehicle is going to be a disaster along with all government plans to move us into electric vehicles at this time. Battery technology has progressed but its still far down the road before it will be a viable alternative to gasoline powered vehicles. A smarter move would be to move the economy to clean diesel using blue tech. We just need to convert a larger percentage of our refining to diesel from gasoline.
